Step into an intimate journey of flavor and tradition with a thoughtfully curated Japanese tea and pairing experience. Guided by Nicole Levy, founder of Flowering Waters and lifelong student of Japanese tea culture, you’ll explore 4–5 exceptional teas, each presented in person as Nicole welcomes guests in traditional kimono attire.
Having grown up immersed in her family’s green tea business, Nicole brings a deep understanding of heritage, craft, and mindfulness to every tasting. Through Flowering Waters, she invites guests to experience more than a drink—each cup offers beauty, serenity, and connection, turning an everyday moment into something extraordinary.
The tasting unfolds in a multi-course progression, with pairings crafted in collaboration with Chef Toru Matasai to create a harmonious balance of textures and flavors. Highlights may include Kuki-Matcha, Genmai-Matcha, Jyoraku ceremonial matcha, a limited sencha blend (pending availability), and a comforting powdered Hojicha latte.
With each steeping, Nicole shares her vision: to revive the timeless ritual of teatime as an art form of beauty, grace, and stillness. Every sip becomes an invitation to slow down, savor, and experience the quiet joy of harmony blooming in the everyday.
