Cedar + Elm is the heart of The Lodge at St. Edward Park, a beautifully restored landmark hotel peacefully tucked away in a lush 326-acre forest just 30 minutes from Seattle. 

We pride ourselves on a holistically distinctive approach to genuine Pacific Northwest food. Cedar + Elm’s menu is inspired by the undeniable spirit of the region we’re proud to call home. Every ingredient, flavor, and method of preparation is infused with an anchored authenticity; one connected to a clear sense of time and place. The bounty of each season informs our direction, culminating in familiar and approachable dishes with refined presentations and bold flavors.

The cornerstones of the Cedar + Elm culinary program are sustainability, seasonality, and the support of local producers and purveyors. Everything we serve is rooted in responsibility just as much as flavor. Our culinary team ventures from farm to sea in search of the freshest local ingredients; even harvesting produce, herbs, and honey from our own Chef's Garden and apiary.

The Cedar + Elm menu is matched in style and artistry by the historic dining space. A nod to the restaurant's former life as the Saint Edward Seminary dining hall, the light-filled dining room highlights original design details with a touch of modern comfort. The terrace allows for seasonal outdoor dining to soak in the tranquil natural beauty of the surrounding Saint Edward State Park.

Father Mulligan’s Heritage Bar 

Heritage Bar exists in harmony with Cedar + Elm, offering lively libations to accompany your dining experience. Inspired by the rich history of The Lodge, the space is named after the former Saint Edward Seminary's first president Father Mulligan. Today it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests to drop in and enjoy classic cocktails, craft beers, and local wines. Heritage Bar also offers its own menu of classic dishes, showcasing wood-fired flatbreads, charcuterie, house-made burgers, and playful desserts. Stop in early for an espresso to-go, or enjoy an after-dinner drink and dessert, Heritage Bar is the perfect all-day destination. 

The Tonsorium Bar

Named for its history as the barbershop during The Lodge at St. Edward's former life as a seminary, The Tonsorium Bar is the whimsical counterpart to Heritage Bar. Stop in after-hours for fantastical cocktails, adventurous food, and an intimate speakeasy atmosphere. The Tonsorium will host a rotating lineup of local musicians and an ever-evolving menu to surprise and delight you each time you visit us.
