Gymnasium

Stories of St. Edward

In 1945, faculty and students of Saint Edward Seminary built a sizeable gymnasium of logs. Sadly, the structure burned down in 1950. It was replaced in 1951 by a modern gymnasium-auditorium building, which stands before you today. Seminary students used the gymnasium as a place for exercise and organized sports. Today, the gymnasium is open to Lodge guests to shoot hoops on the basketball courts.
