Join us for the second annual Summer Nature Walk Series at Saint Edward State Park, a seasonal invitation to explore, learn, and connect with the natural beauty just beyond your door. Led by knowledgeable guides from Washington State Parks and CoSEE, each walk offers a deeper look into the park’s evolving ecosystem—from ongoing restoration efforts to the diverse plants and wildlife that call this forest home.

These leisurely, all-ages walks are open to everyone, including leashed pets, and are designed to spark curiosity while offering a refreshing way to spend a summer morning. Whether you are a returning guest or discovering the park for the first time, each date brings new insights and a renewed appreciation for this remarkable landscape.

Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged. Lace up your walking shoes and join us in the forest.

About CoSEE & the EERC

The Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement (Collaborative/CoSEE) is a university-led research and learning unit that operates at the Environmental Education and Research Center (EERC) in Saint Edward State Park (SESP). The Collaborative hosts interdisciplinary and equity-centered place-based research and learning programs in the Bothell-Kenmore-Kirkland surrounding region with a broad reach to the surrounding urban communities.

The CoSEE's mission is accomplished through UW-partnered undergraduate field study, community-engaged research experiences and place-based creative practices, youth and family outreach, community science programs, and co-curricular partnerships with K-12 schools.

Land acknowledgment: The EERC stands on the lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, whose ancestors have resided here since time immemorial. Many Indigenous peoples from different Nations, Tribes, and Bands thrive in this place-alive and strong
