Introducing our Gallery of Giving Trees

This year the Lodge at St. Edward State Park is partnering with seven Washington State Nonprofits to raise awareness of their important missions via our Gallery of Giving Trees.

Each of these organizations has a personal connection to a member of our Lodge Team, and we have asked them to decorate a tree in our Gallery to help tell the story of their mission.

We invite our neighbors and guests alike to visit the Gallery this holiday season. As you enjoy the splendid décor of each tree, we hope you will also learn more about each organization and encourage you to give to those that also speak to your heart.

Get to Know Our Partners

Food Lifeline

“We are proud to feature Food Lifeline as one of our nonprofit partners in the Hall of Trees.  Our collaboration over the years has resulted in thousands of meals for those in need throughout the community.  This holiday season, those facing hunger are at even greater risk.  Your generosity is deeply appreciated!”

Corey Roettgers, Lodge Manager

Vision House

“Vision House is an amazing organization providing transitional housing for families with children. Their program is focused on the commitment and passion to change lives and break the cycle of homelessness for the next generation in our region. I am personally passionate about this mission and think we can make things better for our children.”
Jenne Oxford, General Manger - The Lodge at St. Edward State Park

Vera Project

“Vera is the best! They have built a unique, welcoming, and creative safe space for youth driven engagement through music and art. People of all ages can express themselves by participating in all of the things this venue has to offer – screen printing, a recording studio, art gallery and much more.”

Lindsey Bryden, Event & Sales Manager

WestSide Baby

"I am so excited to partner with WestSide Baby this holiday season because as a mother of two I know firsthand that it truly takes a village when raising children. WestSide baby helps to provide that extra support so that all local children can have their basic needs met. No matter the circumstance they aim to support the growth of children so they can become healthy resilient members of our community."

Nikki Betz, Sales Manager

Arts of Kenmore

"Arts of Kenmore is a creative placemaking organization, dedicated to engaging artists and the community with innovative and sustainable platforms that encourage dialogue and create a distinct sense of belonging in Kenmore Washington."

Sara Solum Hayashi, Executive Director

Poor Communities Childrens Initiative

“There are so many women who cannot afford to feed, clothe or care for their children back in my home country, Ghana. This is my way of trying to alleviate the suffering and give back to my community. I started a bakery where the families can bake and sell bread to support themselves. The jewelry on the tree here was handmade by participants in our program.”

Sam Ankrah, Engineering Manager & Founder of PCCI

"Mentorship is one of the most powerful ways to enact positive change in our world. Journeymen is a diverse community of young adults, elders, volunteers, guides, youth, and families who are wholly focused on bringing out the best in our boys, their mission is to encourage compassionate, inspired and resilient young men through nature-based rites of passage, mentorship, and community engagement. My youngest son was part of the first sessions of Journeymen. Now an adult, he still references the positive impact and meaningful conversations they shared and plans to participate in the future as a mentor to continue to support the healthy evolution of the men of tomorrow."

Kamela Daniels, Arts Program Director
