The Tonsorium Bar

The Tonsorium Bar

The Tonsorium Bar is named for its history as Saint Edward Seminary's barbershop. The Tonsorium, translated to 'barbershop' in Latin, draws inspiration from its former life. The owner’s grandfather was a triplet and the triplets – nicknamed Heavy, Slim, Fats – were all barbers for most of their lives. You'll find the original barber chair and more family heirlooms from the seminary days, alongside new whimsical decor anchored by an original mural by local artist Jean Bradbury.

Stop in after-hours for fantastical cocktails, adventurous food, and an intimate speakeasy atmosphere. The Tonsorium will host a rotating lineup of local musicians and an ever-evolving menu to keep your experience never one and the same.
